A few years ago I began looking at photography in a new way. I started to see past the snapshot and recognized it for its true potential as a form of expression. It is a very deep craft. On the surface it seems easy, especially with today’s point and shoot cameras, but close inspection reveals layers that take a lifetime to master. This blog is meant as a journal of my attempt to move from drifting on the shifting winds of creative instinct to finding my voice and expressing myself in a precise and meaningful way.
